More than 700 exhibitors and international pavilions from over 20 countries showcase construction solutions in Riyadh
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 1 September 2026 – Big 5 Construct Saudi has returned to Riyadh with strong international participation, reflecting continued confidence in Saudi Arabia’s construction sector despite recent regional supply-chain challenges.
Organised by dmg events, the current edition brings together more than 700 exhibitors alongside international pavilions representing over 20 countries. Companies from China, Türkiye, Italy, Germany, India and Egypt are among the leading international participants presenting products, technologies and solutions to the Saudi market.
Speaking during the exhibition, Muhammed Kazi, Senior Vice President at dmg events, described Big 5 Construct Saudi as the organisation’s flagship construction event and highlighted its long-standing presence in the Kingdom.
“Big 5 has been present in Saudi Arabia for more than 10 years and has established itself as the country’s largest construction exhibition,” Kazi said. “We bring together international and local exhibitors, creating opportunities for them to connect, explore partnerships and conduct business.”
The 2026 edition of Big 5 Construct Saudi has been delivered through two complementary event phases. The first, held in January, focused on the design-led segments of the industry, including windows, doors and façades, urban design and landscaping, and marble and stone.
The current edition has a stronger industrial focus, bringing together solutions across concrete, construction machinery, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, facilities management and professional cleaning.
According to Kazi, the structure enables the event to serve a broader range of construction professionals and provide more focused access to products and suppliers across different stages of the project lifecycle.
The opening day saw strong activity throughout the exhibition halls, with contractors, consultants, developers, distributors and other industry professionals engaging directly with exhibitors.
“There is a real sense of excitement on the exhibition floor,” Kazi said. “Exhibitions give companies the opportunity to meet relevant buyers face-to-face, demonstrate their products and allow visitors to experience new technologies and innovations directly. The feedback from our exhibitors during the first few hours has been very positive, and they are looking forward to a strong few days.”
In addition to the exhibition, the event features a programme of seminars and industry discussions addressing key issues affecting the construction sector. The programme provides a platform for experts, business leaders and other stakeholders to share knowledge and examine emerging trends and opportunities.
Several commercial agreements and memoranda of understanding are also expected to be announced during the event. A dedicated signing area has been established to support exhibitors finalising major partnerships and deals, with media facilities available to document the announcements.
Kazi also addressed the recent shipping and logistics challenges affecting the movement of construction products across the region. He said Saudi Arabia’s geographical position, established local supplier base and access to different transportation routes have helped the market maintain its resilience.
“Supply chains are an extremely important topic, particularly following the challenges experienced over the past six months,” he said. “Saudi Arabia has demonstrated strong resilience. Its geographical position provides several options for bringing goods into the country, while its substantial local supply base means that many products are already available within the market.”
He added that international exhibitors had successfully transported a significant range of products to Riyadh, including shipments delivered through regional road networks.
“Although the situation has been challenging, the feedback we are receiving from our customers is that participating has been worthwhile,” Kazi said. “The exhibition floor is very busy, and we look forward to maintaining this momentum throughout the event.”
The strong turnout and international participation underline the continued appeal of Saudi Arabia’s construction market and the role of Big 5 Construct Saudi in connecting global suppliers with local buyers, supporting commercial partnerships and strengthening collaboration across the industry.
